Gabriel Ryan Myers. what a name that will live on forever. words can & never will explain how much i miss you everyday that goes by. i miss your smile and your advise about anything when i needed someone to talk to you were always right there for me no matter what.when i look up at the sky i think about you and how your in heaven watching over us and keeping us safe. you were and are still are loved by so many people! you have impacted more lives more then anyone could ever Imagen. im not ready to say goodbye. because that means forever. i told you to promise me that you would meet me at the white pearly gates and welcome me to heaven. people share stories and fun memories with you and the times you spent with us. thank you for the memories you gave me. i will cherish them for the rest of my life. ill see you sometime in the future. i still cant believe your gone. but im keeping you close to my heart, and i always will!
heres to what i said to you on new years..
"we did it gabe! its finally the year we graduate!" your still apart of all of us when we walk across that stage! we all will be thinking of you!:)

I am so sorry for your loss, I will miss him playing ball with friends across the street. What a tragic thing to have happened. My prayers and thoughts are with the family during this tragic time. Sophia is a great mother and I can't even imagine what she is going through, (((HUGS)))
He was a good boy and this is just really a great loss.

Sophia, I am so sorry to hear about this great tragedy. You and your entire family are in my prayers. I am glad that I got the chance to get to know him last year in Santa Fe, we sat next to each other at the rehearsal dinner and he was so nice to talk to and get to know. RIP Gabe, you will be missed.

Sophia & Matt,
I cannot put into words how our family feels about loosing Gabe, he was always a wonderful boy watching him grow up taking him with us to the campground watching Jeff n him run around having fun and he loved his milk!!He grew up to be a wonderful young man taken away way to soon I will never forget Jeff's suprise party at the hotel they had a blast !! Gabe jumping into the pool with his cell phone he was so upset they had so much fun swimming till all hours of the nite! It was so special because Sophia and I met when we were around 5 years old and our children met around the same age and stayed friends just like we did when I heard of this tragedy Jeff n I had to be with u that evening. I still cannot believe it.I hope and pray god will give you and Matt the strength to get thru this ! I hope he gives us all the strenght! God bless you Gabe and now you are with your father you will be missed by so many of us!!!

Gabe was the most respectful and amazing young man! We have known Gabe since elementary school days and it has been a joy and pleasure watching these small boys grow into wonderful young men! The basketball and baseball games, but most of all the "wiffle ball" games! The "Retention Pond Boys" were the most amazing! You all worked so hard together to build your own Field of Dreams and Memories! Your BEAUTIFUL SMILE has always been contagious! There have been millions of tears in Portage this week along with the funny stories and awesome memories you have left with all of us! Keep SMILING and watch over us...we miss you so much! Our thoughts and prayers for strength to your mother (Sophia) and brother (Matt)! REST IN PEACE GABE!!

Gabriel ryan aka my teddy bear its so hard to believe your gone you were a amazing friend and I love you dearly you had a smile that could light up the world when ever I saw you I smiled I couls turn to you for any and everything it still hasnt really hit me yet it sucks because iam not at home and I can not make it but I love you more than words can ever explain. I will never forget your wonderful hugs and our long talks about nothing and your favorite subject sports I remember sitting on the couch on the phone with you and you were watching a basketball game and you made me turn what I was watching so I could watch the game with you all of our tic tac toes games in algebra our jokes about mr.m all I can say I will misa you dearly and I love you! I did'nt know your son but by looking at his picture I could tell he was a sweet heart. It's not easy to tell anyone what to do at this time that has lost a child unexpected but all we can do is to keep the prayeers of God over you and your family. God Bless You.

I am so sorry to hear about Gabe. My husband and I met him years ago. He seem to be a wonderful boy. I grew up with his Dad. God bless the family so they can move on. He is in a better place.

When the kids were little and they swan together in our pools my girls loved having boys as friends. Matt, Gabe, & Mark were three of their favorites. We will cherish those times forever.
No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve. Rest in peace Gabe your Dad is there to welcome you to heaven.........

I did not know Gabe or his family, and I am not related, but I am very sorry for your loss, and my heart and prayers and tears go out to his family. There is no comparison to losing a child, I know because I too, have lost a child.

I don't know you or your family, but I was reading this in the paper and saw his picture and I could see what a special person he was by the friends he had. I also lost my son so I understand what you are going through. There is no greater pain than losing a child. Look to God and He will see you through your grief. God Bless!!

I am sorry for your loss.Gabe was an close friend to my son Ke'Andre whom did not like Portage until he meet Gabe,Tony,Tommie,Travis,Robert they always hung out. He still talk about the party Gabe gave at the yacht club he said it was the best party ever.I love the way he made everyone smile even me. One Halloween he was an Big Tissue Box no one had a costume like that before.He loved playing sports I will see him playing basketball at PHS open gym. I didn't know Gabriel but my nephew played ball with him and I understand he was a very nice young man. It's sad to end a life when life is just beginning but as an angel he will be looking down on his friends and family and taking care of them from above.

I don't know your family and didn't know your son,But I am a mom and my son passed away last year in July.
