Alison and John,
It was my pleasure to meet and be friends with your dad-Dr. Netzhammer over the past 24 years. Not only was he my freind but my dentist and we loved to share talks about our children; especially Alison and Jennifer and how their lives had gone in different directions since high school. We talked about riding our motorcycles but never got to ride together and his geneology. Harry will always be remembered fondly and as a special friend. Donette (Rouch) Heinze

My husband & I attended Hobart High School with Dick Netzhammer. When I was Janet Carlson (maiden name), we lived on Connecticut Street in Hobart and Dick lived in the Villa Shores neighborhood also. We send our condolences to the family.

I worked for Dr. Netzhammer for 20 years. He was more than an employer, he was like a father to me. I always told him that I had spent more time with him than any other man in my life. I will truly miss him! Allison and John, I am so sorry for your loss. I do know though how proud your Dad was of both of you, he talked about you guys all the time. I am so glad that you had this time to spend with him before his passing. Love to you....

I always told Dr. Netzhammer that there was only one dentist in the world and I was looking at him, his girls would laugh and say Dont tell him that he will get a big head. He was my dentist for 44 yrs, i guess that made him a good friend too. I will miss him. My condolences go out to his family and to all the people who had the pleasure of working with this wonderful man. Dollie Wallace

Dick was my childhood friend. We played together when I lived on Joliet Street in Hobart when we were pre-school age. I remember him chasing me with a frog he found in the alley! We remained friends all through high school; our senior year when it was time for the prom, he was committed to a girl who was a college Freshman and I to a young man in the army. Dick suggested we go to prom together which we did and it was a wonderful evening. I have always considered him my friend even though we connected only briefly via email about 10 years ago. Thanks for the friendship and memories, Dick! My sincerest sympathy to your family. RuthAnn Fleming Schavey

John and Allison,
I will always treasure the memory of my big brother and all the precious times we shared, especially during the last fourteen months of his life. I hope that when my time comes, I will be as brave and strong as he was.
You two were the greatest support system anyone could have (Matt, too.)
I am so happy that we had this time to get reacquainted and will always be here for you if you need me.
Love, Aunt Kay
