Such great memories of such a fine man . So fortunate to have known him. I was a UPS driver and Jack was my Supervisor. I later went on to go in to management and spent 35 years at UPS. I owe a a lot to Jacks patience with me at the time.

I first met Jack in 1984 whan I transferred from Wisconsin. Jack was the most genuine person one would ever want to le4arn from. He had the patience of a saint and was willing to stop what he was doing to talk to you. He made you feel like you were the most important person in his world. I tried to model my management skills after Jack. Thank you Jack for what you taught me.

I worked for/with Jack as a driver and supervisor in the old Bernice Center (Lansing, Illinois). So many great memories of such a fine man.
Just became aware of Jacks passing today as a result of reading a communication from UPS

Jack was a leader who taught me much about how to treat people in the early days of my UPS career. His soft-spoken and clear approach is one I have tried to emulate throughout my 37 years at UPS. His involvement later in his life helping others is perhaps the greatest tribute to his character. My prayers are with him and his family in this difficult time. Larry & Gayle Kelly, Naperville, IL.
