James Lowe

Lowe, James "Ed" Age 82, of Crown Point, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2011. Ed was a retired custodian for the Crown Point School Corporation. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Crown Point. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen L. Lowe, his sister, Helen Maeblo. He is survived by 2 daughters, Retta Mae Roorda of Demotte and Robin B. Ann Plants of Crown Point; 2 sons, Michael Lowe and Randy Lowe both of AR; step-daughter, Sandra (James) Houldson of Crown Point; step-son, Jimmy (Barbara) Rice of Fairland, IN; brothers, John (Mamie) Lowe of Hobart, Jack (Joan) Lowe of Mountain Home, AR; sisters, Georgetta (Joe) Shepard of Kouts and Adaline Bane of Racine, WI; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home. Rev. John Starr officiating. Service will terminate at the funeral home with cremation at the Burns Funeral Home Crematory.
