I will truly miss Aunt Janie. I loved her spirit and thirst for life. She was such a positive, consistent support system as I pursued my dreams in life. She was also my traveling buddy. She, my mother, and I traveled all over the world together. She was excited about different cultures and different people. Although my heart is hurting, I take some solace in knowing that Aunt Janie will continue to live in my life and in the lives of our entire family.

To the Family of Janie Jackson: Margaret and I join you in celebrating the life of Sister Janie. She and Curtis were very dear to us as officers and members of Christ Baptist Church and as friends. We shared the distinction of getting married in June 1963 and our friendship developed over the years. As you celebrate her life, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We pray that God will give you the strength to celebrate her life with joy and thanksgiving and that each of us will commit or recommit ourself to living the rest of our life in ways that glorify God, in ways that edify His Church, and in ways that advance His Kingdom.

In His Name & To His Glory,
Pastor & Mrs. Colvin Blanford

My sincere condolences to the family of Janie Jackson. I had the pleasure of being a part of the Christ Baptist Church family, and serving on the Deacon Board as well. She was a very quiet spoken person, but she was honest and straight forward. RIH Janie, your work here on this earth is done.
