Visitation for Mrs. Dixon is on Friday, February 19th at 4pm-8pm at Tree of Life MBC, Gary, Indiana. Viewing on Saturday from 9-11am, Funeral Service immediately following on Saturday, February 20th at 11am, Tree of Life MBC, 2323 W. 11th Ave., Gary, Indiana. Interment, Evergreen Cemetery.

This is also DeSean but a lot later.I'm turning 12 this year!I'll be 13 next year!I won't the other message when I was 9.I miss you.If your listening to me,please tell Papi I love and miss him.Next year will be the year that I haven't seen him for a decade.Last time I saw him I was three and next year I'll be 13.I still think about you guys.I always will.Love you - Your favorite granddaughter,DeSean.

Mrs. Dixon has always shown me warmth and kindness for the nearly forty years that I've been coming to and around her house. Rodney and I have been friends for most of our lives and Mrs. Dixon has never shown me anything less than a mothers love. The events that have significantly affected my life, she was there to support me and I will never forget her for it. Rest in eternal peace Mother Dixon.

As a friend of Rodney’s I enjoyed hearing Ms. Dixon’s wisdom and humors statement’s. She was a very warm and hospitable southern lady. My deepest condolences to Rodney & family.
