To everyone who have been there for our family in our time of need, we want you to know that we really appreciate everything.

To my brother Jerry, I want you to know that I'm missing you like crazy. Your body is gone, but your spirit will forever live on. You will be thought of and loved forever. Just know that no-one can ever take your place.Like you would say, "(Ya Dig)".

To everyone who showed any type of sympathy to our family, thank you all. Jerry will be missed by a lot of people, in many ways. He's gone to a better place, the sad part is we will have to live with the emptiness in our hearts until our final day comes. "Jerry your spirit and love grows 4ever in my heart AND our beautiful children..... his soul lives on!!!!"

DARLISA,

I am so sorry to know that another important person in your life had to depart from here. It is not at all easy, and sometimes it doesn't seem fair, however I know that you can and will rebound from all of this, so just take your time with your healing, and CRY as much as you want to. Believe it or not that is the first step of the healing process. God loves you and so do I.

Darlisa, Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers for your loss. The time will come for you to look to the Lord for continued strenght. I know that you are a strong young lady, and you have great family support, with that being said, please understand where you help comes from, and that is the Lord. To the Bandy,Diaz, and Butler Family,

You have my deepest sympathy in the passing of Jerry. I played on the basketball team with Jerry at West Side my freshman through junior year. He was one of the guys who pushed me everyday to be a better player and he will be deeply missed. I know that the family is a God fearing family and believer of his word, for he will never put more on us than we can bear. Continue to look to the hills from which cometh your health and always remember weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. To Dontreal,Darlisa and Antwon, Be strong for your family in this time. Keep Jerry with you at all times, which i know you will, by being a positive influence for his children. May God Bless You.

Gone but Not Forgotten

Dedicated To Jerry Bandy

You were so full of life,

Always smiling and carefree,

Life loved you being a part of it,

You could make anyone laugh,

If they were having a bad day,

No matter how sad people were

You could take the hurt away.

Nothing could every stop you,

Or even make you fall,

You were ready to take on the world,

Ready to do it all.

But God decided he needed you,

So from this world you left,

But you took a piece of all of us,

Our hearts are what you kept.

Your seat is now empty,

And it's hard not to see your face,

But please always know this,

No one will ever take your place.

You left without a warning,

Not even saying good-bye,

And we can't seem to stop,

Asking the question why?

Nothing will ever be the same,

The house is empty without your laughter,

But I know you're in Heaven,

Watching over us and looking after.

We didn't see this coming,

It hit us by surprise,

And when you left this world,

A small part of us died.

Your smile could brighten anyone's day,

No matter what they were going through,

And we know everyday for the rest of our life,

We'll be missing you.
