I knew John Dimos for only a brief amount of time, but in that time I learned what a great interest he had in getting to know each student in his class. He challenged us to think, to question, and to be informed. I believe he made NW Indiana a better place.

I consider myself extremely lucky to have met John. I am currently in his entrepreneurship class at Purdue University Calumet. In my two days I seen him in class, I have never been more interested in what a teacher had to say, Thank you very much Mr. Dimos, I will most definately miss you like a family member. Look down on us and help us through the semester, it's going to be much more difficult without your guidance.

I am saddened to hear of the news. Our family used to visit the restaurant since 1958. I believe at one time he was a neighbor for a few years on Morningside Ave in Glen Park..We lived at 120..about 2 doors away and I was a paperboy in that area as well. Our prayers are with the family. Russell Dickerson

I had the good fortune of knowing John, but the bad fortune of knowing him much too briefly. I was elated when he accepted Sid Feldman's and my offer to teach at IUN because I knew first hand of his outstanding abilities and personal values I noted when he was earning his M.B.A. As the coordinator of marketing, I wished that he were a full time faculty. But his entrepreneureal spirit won.
Yes, we will all miss him.
