My sympathy to the family of my Dad's nephew, my cousin John. He was always very sweet to me, always had a smile.

I always told him he was my favorite brother-in-law for many years... And we'd laugh, he was my only brother-in-law!

To all of the Skolak family, I grew up next door to all of the children on 19th Avenue in Tolleston. Johnny was such a special friend. Many are the times he walked me home from a dance (Social Club) or from a football game or the Dairy Maid because I was afraid to walk alone. God be with all of you as you celebrate his life. He is in the hands of God now. My condolences and sympathies are with all of his brothers and sister and all of his children.

Sorry to hear of John's passing. He was a good friend. We have a lot of great memories of the parties and functions at Club SAR throughout many years. John was one of those guys who gave maximum effort for his organizations.

Oh so many memories David has of John! Many are just downright hysterical! Please know we are keeping you all in our prayers as you face life without your loved one. May you all find some peace in knowing he knew how much he was loved by you all.

I knew your father when he worked for Don Conrad at the Auto Ranch. He was a happy soul when ever I saw him. I was young and he always had "paternal" words of advice. Looking back today I know he truly was a friend. I saw him many years back at the Auction and it was like time had stood still. May he rest in peace and God bless all who loved him, in your time of sorrow.
