Hey Joe........I was just sending my condolences to another friend of mine that passed away on April 20th, and now im remembered of a very funny moment that took place in your front yard; we were hitting golf balls across the street towards my backyard when you got all of one and landed ir on the Stavitcke roof. It was a glorious shot that landed right above their back porch. Needless to say, we both ran into your house and closed the garage door. You were a great friend of mine Joe and you'll always have a place in my heart and in my memories. Thanks for being such a good man friend and husband to Betty. See u on the other side Joe.

Thinking of you this rainy day in Alabama Joe. I enjoyed your friendship and all the fun times we spent together. I considered you my 2nd dad and Im forever grateful for all the laughs we shared over the years. One such memory Ill never forget is when we were hitting wedge shots from your front yard and you connected on one and hit a towering shot that landed on the roof just above the back door of the Stavitcke's. We ran so fast into ur house and closed the garage door....lol. I always loved that you Joe.....a pertual kid at heart. Godbless you and thanks again for all you did for me. your friend Todd.

I remember Joe and Betty from the Chicagoland Carcinoid Fighters group. You both gave me a lot of first hand information and I thank you for that. He will be missed by all of us at the group.
