June Poppe Obituary

JUNE POPPE Lowell, IN Age 76, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2005. She is survived by 6 sons, Henry "Hooker" (Martine) of Lawton, OK, Hubert "Fritz" (Lynn) of Groton, CT, Kurt (Lynn) of DeMotte, IN, August (Lori) of Cedar Lake, IN, Rolf (Lynne) of Hebron, IN, and Lance (Tammy) of Lowell, IN; 1 daughter, Diane (Scott) Nikolas of DeMotte, IN, 1 daughter-in-law, Marie Poppe of FL; 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; 1 brother Louis (Tangiara) Krown of St. John; 2 sisters, Carol (Bill) Luebke of Hamilton, IL, Elaine (Wally) Luebke of Okawville, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, Sr., and son, Robert, Jr. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowell with Pastor Mark Pflughoeft officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Sheets Funeral Home, 604 E. Commercial Avenue, Lowell, IN 46356. June was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she participated in Ladies Aid and the Lowell Women's Club.

June was a very special lady! She was our customer during the time we had the sewing machine store. Always a lady and she treated us like family. Then when I became a member of the Lowell Woman's Club, she was a friend. She will always be remembered with love.
