I first met Lil when she became my nurse manager in the 70's. Our friendship grew and we became sisters in mind, soul and heart. You rarely saw one of us without the other. We had some great times together and I greatly admired Lil's management and nursing skills, she taught me a lot.
My love and condolences go out to Sylvia and to all of the family.

Lil Terry was an important member of the Management Team of Saint Margaret Mercy Healthcare Centers before, during and after my tenure as President and CEO. She was a capable, ethical and affable nurse leader who ran a very good nursing unit (2 East) staffed with strong professionals from top to bottom.
Lil led by example. She exemplified all the five Franciscan Values, and was viewed by many as the heart of the hospital.
My deepest condolences to her family, friends and relatives in the loss of an exemplary nurse leader. May her memory be eternal and may she rest in everlasting peace.
My sincerest sympathies on the passing of such a great and good woman.

Oh Lil, you gave me my first nursing position in 1980. You were my Mentor on 2 East. You are the reason I turned out to be such an excellent RN. You touched many lives in your journey here on Earth. As you continue your journey in the Heavens Above, those still here on earth will continue your journey with the memories and the wisdom you touched us with. Patti Vosti RN

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Our families were neighbors on 11th Pierce Street. She would holler out her window for us to keep the noise down, because she was working Midnights. RIP Lilly

Sending my love & deepest sympathy...Lil was the “experienced ICU RN” who taught me the ropes when I began my career as a new ICU RN in 1973. She was an amazing professional and a wonderful mentor. We worked the night shift together and talked about our families and life events, becoming fast friends for over 30 years! I will miss you Lil and the world is not the same without you in it! Sylvia, you were her absolute pride and joy!!
Godspeed my dear friend, and may the Lord wrap your family in a cloak of His love, for this is truly a great loss❣

To the family,Prayers and thoughts go out to you all. We share your sorrow as we went to Gary Roosevelt High together, she was remembered by that beautiful page boy hair style she wore in school back in the 50's. No more sadness, sorrow or pain again. May you all find comfort in her precious memories. R.I.H. Lillian. Mary Alice(Ross) Williams and other Ross Sisters.
