Lillian Weigus Obituary

LILLIAN A. WEIGUS Naperville, Illinois Formerly Hobart, Indiana Lillian A. Weigus, age 89, passed away Friday, February 15, 2008. She was a lifetime Northwest Indiana resident and a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church and St. Anne's Confraternity. Lillian loved gardening, baking, and cooking. She is survived by her son, Richard (Jo Ann) Weigus of Hinsdale, IL; 1 brother, Edward (Barbara) Dziubla, Fort Wayne, IN; 1 sister, Emily Inzerillo of Prattville, AL; 3 grandchildren, Brian (Ramona) Weigus of Willowbrook, IL, Beth Ann Weigus of Chicago, IL, and Michael (Jennifer) Weigus of Willowbrook, IL; and her 4 great grandchildren, Brian, Emily, Claire, and Jack Weigus; many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Simon and Mary Dziubla, her husband of 50 years, John Weigus, brothers, Walter, John, Frank and Chester Dziubla, sisters, Bernice Babcock, and Wanda Ranus. Funeral services are Monday, February 18, 2008 beginning with 9:30 a.m. prayers at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart and proceeding to St Bridget Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portage. Visitation is Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a 3:30 p.m. St. Anne's Prayer service at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
