Linda Breitzke Obituary

LINDA MARIE BREITZKE (nee Wells) Kouts, Indiana Linda Marie Breitzke (nee Wells) age 56 of Kouts, formerly of Hobart, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Linda was a dedicated mother, wife and friend. She described St. Mary Medical Center and her fellow employees as her second family for over 35 years. She was considered a saint by everyone who knew her. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Greg Breitzke of Kouts; her mother, Betty (Bob) Searer of North Webster, Indiana; 2 sons, Matthew (Shelly) Breitzke of Bixby, Oklahoma and Gregory (Jenene) Breitzke, Jr. of Kouts; 1 sister, Kathleen (David) Austin of Plymouth, Indiana; 3 grandchildren, Travis, Cassie and Colin. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Richard Wells; and her sister, Patty Wells. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 7:00 PM from the Kraft Funeral Services and Crematory, 370 N. County Line Road, Hobart with cremation to follow. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday from 2 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Call (219) 942-9866.

Linda , you have been gone from us for almost five years now . As you know I think about you every day and speak to you often. You were my greatest blessing and when the Lord took you Home it was my saddest day . I loved you then , now , and forever.

I was shocked to learn of Linda's passing. She was the greatest teacher I had ever known. She was a fantastic nurse and I remember her most in that she loved her family and her grandchildren. She was so proud of them all! I will miss her.

I worked with Linda for five years in the ER at St, Mary's Medical Center, She was a friend, a role-model, and the greatest teacher I have ever worked with. I know I speak for all her fellow employees, she will be greatly missed. Her presence and confidence in her job have inspired me and many others.
