Mr. Welford will truly be missed. My husband and I have really been touched by him. "The longer you knew him, the more you realized how remarkable a man he was, how remarkable a servant, how devoted and loyal to his family, how faithful to God, and how available to those who needed help." Heaven has added an angel. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. -- Matthew 5:4

My prayers go out to the family of Deacon Lloydell Welford. We thank God for the life and legacy of Deacon Welford. Deacon Welford taught me valuable lessons about the responsibilities of a Deacon. I remember him telling me that a Deacon should always have one sermon in his bible at all times and since that day I have always kept that one sermon in my bible. I remember how Deacon Welford would pass out soft pepper mint candy to the Deacons during Sunday Morning Worship Services. I can still see him standing at the baptismal pool leading songs when people were being baptized. Those were some great days that I will always remember. Deacon Welford was a class act, always calm and composed. It was a joy, honor and a pleasure to be around him and to have served with him. To God be the glory for all that he has done, for all that he is doing and for all that he is going to do. God bless the Welford Family!

To the Welford family; It was sad for me to read of Lloydell's passing. Lloydell ( Jr. as we knew him) and I worked together, thru thick and thin, for many years. It was a pleasure to have known him. He was an excellent employee and I enjoyed working with him.

Mr. Welford was my neighbor across the street some years back and he often extended a hearty greeting which would lead up to well rounded conversations, that I still think of today. An excellent human being who knew how to handle himself very well as a man of good character. It was an honor to know him and be his neighbor. May the Lord keep, watch and bless his family and friends, with the consolation of peace, that passes all understanding, as Mr. Welford take spiritual citizenship in his new life, in His new home in eternity with Jesus.
