Please accept our deepest condolences in the loss of your son. Our hearts go out to you and your family. Our son, Duane (Dee)Grant and Mark played basketball and baseball together for two years at Andrean. They were also born one day apart. Duane always talked of the speciaL relationship he had with Mark, being a minority at the school. We spent many good times on bleachers with you, again your family befriended ours. You both were always so nice to me and my husband. Again, we pray your strength daily. May God be with you.

Mr. and Mrs. Edwards, I dont even need to tell you how much Mark meant to me. He was my best friend, the brother I never had, and the greatest guy I knew. I loved him more than I thought possible, I dont think I will ever have as great a friend as him again. I'll never forget all the fun we had together at your house. The pool parties, the late night card games, and especially all the fun me and Mark had when you guys werent around. I'll never forget those memories.

Dear Mary, Mark, Moira, Meggan and family:

What a beutiful, moving and inspiring mass for your precious son, Mark II. From the children's choir to Father Heeg's homily of 'our Lord weeping' to the eulogies, Mark would have been humbled at such an out-pouring of love.

May you carry-on his presence here in this world and the next, and speak of him 'as if he were beside you there'.

God be with you!

Love and Prayers,

Helen and Dave Batusic and family

Mary, Mark and Family,

Remember the good times as Mark was growing up and all the silly stunts and friends who were involved. Mark is now in a far better place then we are and God has given us all those precious memories of him to cherish. He will be sadly missed by all. Knowing Markie he is probably causing some type of choas and has his wings or halo on crooked right now. Remember his love and the good times -- there were many.

I will always remember the smiling face of Mark, he was always positive on the football field, in church or just walking in my back door. He loved and cared about his friends. The most recent memory was when two of his close friends where mad at each other. Mark was so tired of no communication he went over and woke one of them up to tell them to knock it off. We will miss you so much Mark. Love Donna Levi

I just wanted to say I'm very sorry for your family's loss. I went to school with Mark at St. Pat's. He is definately someone to be deeply missed and cherished in everyone's hearts. He was a very good friend and always knew how to brighten someone's day. I'll never forget the good memories we all had back in the day at St. Pat's. I wish I could be there today and tomorrow, but unfortunately I am away at school three and a half hours away and I have no car to come home. Again, I am sorry for your loss and you are all in my prayers. I went to the Catholic Church down here at school and lit a candle for Mark and your family. God Bless.
