Many of our greatest memories of Uncle Mel always include remembering his one-of-a-kind laugh, his unique sense of humor and lively discussions about politics and of course the Chicago Bears! He was clearly so passionate about his love for his family. You will be forever loved and remembered in our hearts. Love, Niece Pam (Rice) Davis and family.

My Uncle Mel was a wonderful man. Through him I learned the fine art of debating politics while respecting others’ opinions. My uncle was always upbeat and supported me in whatever I pursued. Melvin Ward will be missed, however, I know we will meet again. Rest in Heaven.
