Its hard to believe it has been 17 years since you passed. I think of you every day and wonder what our life could have been. You are always in my heart and it is because of you that I am able to see myself better then before you came into my life. I dream of you alot and miss you so much that my heart still hurts for you. There are no words to express how shocked I felt when I learned of Mike's passing. Those who knew him well have many memories with which to keep Mike alive in their hearts; I envy them. I knew Mike through the square dance community, and was always struck by his infectious laugh, his sense of mischief, and his sincere enjoyment of calling. He brought great joy to the dancers and created tremendous energy with his desire to "stir the pot." He touched a great many people through his willingness to share of himself, of the gift of his friendship and laughter, and through his ability to bring a smile to those whose lives he touched. He is already missed, but those of us who had the pleasure to experience him will not so soon forget. Keep him alive in your hearts by sharing memories of the fun and joy he brought to you -- and he will never, truly, be "gone."
