It seems like just yesterday we was taking pictures and laughing and joking. It´s still hard to believe that im never going to see you across the street at your house planting flowers or cutting the grass or inviting us out to the Chinese buffet. I misss you soooooo much and I´m sending you a big tight bear hug through the air with lots of kisses to go with it !!

I met Mildred in 1989 when my daughter and her daughter was in Head Start. I was volunteering in my daughter’s class and my daughter’s teacher asked would I help decorate the bulletin board in the hallway. She told me another parent had volunteered to help too. Therefore, I went out to meet the parent and this parent was Mildred. We decorated that board and became friends. Mildred had a sweet smile and a joyful laugh.

Fast-forward, years passed, I moved away from Gary, IN, I hadn’t seen Mildred in years, but when I looked online and saw her picture and that she had passed away, my heart ached. I looked through my pictures and found so many pictures of mine children and Mildred’s children when they were younger.

Melissa & Anthony, I am so sorry for your loss, please accept my heartfelt condolences. The Lord bless you with peace, comfort and strength in Jesus name

My heart was broken when I learned about Mildred’s sudden decline in health as a result of a stroke. She witnessed how God brought her companion back in a similar situation. I earnestly prayed that the same be done on her behalf. All were heartbroken when we learned the same outcome wasn’t to be in her case.
Mildred, I humbly thank you for everything you done to help my brother in his recovery. You meant the world to him. We (his family & friends) will be by his side going forward. No one can ever replace you in his life & heart.
My heartfelt condolences goes out to the family of Ms. Mildred Moore. Please know others grieves with you.
Rest from all your labor. We will see you in the morning.

I don’t even know where to begin...... My mom was one of the sweetest ppl I knew. She would give you the last dollar out her pocket and the shirt off her back. She was caring, sweet, and a overall awesome person. Its so hard to believe that your no longer here with us on earth but I know you are watching over each and everyone of us from heaven. I am going to missssssss youuu soooo much but I know you are in a better place and your no longer suffering from any pain or illness. I promise to always look out for Anthony as you raised me to do and I will forever keep your “picture” legacy alive. Love you forever and always ❤❤
