Dear Hanlon Family,

I just heard of your Mom's passing and wanted to let you know how sorry I am for your troubles. Whenever I saw your Mom, she always had that huge smile and a kind word to say; small gestures, I know, but ones that made a difference to me over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Hanlon Family,

My deepest sympathies in the passing of your mother. I was taken aback when my mom told me on Sunday. I still remember the St. Andrew's days and both of your folks smiling ear-to-ear, always happy and jovial.

We'll keep you in our prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs Hanlon's passing. What a lovely woman. And while I may have been the "dorky little Chester," Mrs Hanlon ALWAYS made me feel special. How fortunate you all have been to have such terrific parents.

You are close in prayer.

I was saddened to hear about your mom passing away as she was such a wonderful person. I extend my deepest sympathies to the entire Hanlon family. I always enjoyed being around your mom and had a great deal of respect for her. Although I hadn’t seen her in years, I know she was happiest when she was with her family. To the Hanlon Family and my Friend Stephanie,
I share this poem with you as did someone when my mother passed. My heart is broken for you all. Your mother was THE sweetest woman!!! I use to love talking to her when I would walk around the neighborhood or when I dropped off Stephanie from RSMT rehearsals. Lovely woman, she will me missed.

Remember Me

Remember me when flowers bloom
Early in the spring
Remember me on sunny days
In the fun that summer brings

Remember me in the fall
As you walk through the leaves of gold
And in the wintertime - remember me
In the stories that you tell

But most of all remember
Each day - right from the start
I will be forever near
For I live within your heart

Anon, 20th century

May the arms that welcomed Nancy into heaven be the same arms that holds you tight.

In friendship,

Dennis Kauffman, CSB

To the Nancy Hanlon family:
I am so saddened by the passing of your mother. I know she was a strong woman and wonderful mother, and just a wonderful person to know who was always warm and friendly to me and anyone else who would visit at the house in Merrillville. Her kid's friends were her friends. I pray for you and your family for the Lord to comfort you in your time of sorrow, and may the Lord bring his child Nancy home to everlasting life.
