Nona and I literally grew up together by marriage family as cousins and we remained close over our respective generational families. Nona and I were probably the closest non-blood relatives you can imagine and I will surely miss her. I am comfortable knowing her life-long faith has made her a place beside our Savior .

Ms. Gardfrey
A woman who contributed to God’s powerful work in the world and the advancement of his kingdom.
Her attributes were that of great women throughout the bible: Ruth - everyday faithfulness in the face of impossible circumstances. Mary Magdalene- faithful follower of Jesus. Miriam - helped to save Moses when he was an infant.
Her gift of using stones (bling) to decorate hats, shirts, purses etc.shined the light on her strength and resiliency.

John 16:22
And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

We had a wonderful person in you Mother Nona, like a Grandmother,
who graced us with your presence and your love;
One who never really grew old;
Your smile was made of sunshine,
And your heart was solid gold;
Your eyes were as bright as shining stars,
And your cheeks as fair roses.
We had a wonderful Mother Nona,
who blinged us beautifully and kept us full and with many sweet treats.
Conversations were delightfully long, full of wisdom with plenty of laughter.
The memories and thoughts of you will always be.

You are and will continue to be Deeply Missed!
