Ralph Sharpe Obituary

Sharpe, Ralph Age 80, of Lake of the Four Seasons, Crown Point, IN, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012, peacefully surrounded by his family at home. Ralph is survived by his children, Ralph (Theresa) Sharpe, St. Peters, MO, Jerry Sharpe of Crown Point, Jean Blakely, Brownsburg, IN, Joe Sharpe of Hebron, IN and Helen (David) Laviolette of Hebron, IN; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (John) Dockery, Helen Bole, Betty Kolton and Virginia (Jerry) Okoniewski. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Sharpe. Ralph was retired from LTV Steel and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. Ralph was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was very devoted to his family and friends and was a proud American. Visitation will be held for family and friends on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Geisen Funeral Cremation & Reception Centre located at 606 E. 113th Ave/South St. Crown Point, IN. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Geisen Funeral Cremation & Reception Centre with John Starr officiating. Burial will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given in Ralph's name to Chicagoland Christian Village, Crown Point, IN. I'm so sorry to hear your Dad has died. Although I had only seen him a few times he was very kind and welcoming to me. He was so proud and happy to have his family at his home for the holidays. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
