Robert Caruso Obituary

ROBERT J. CARUSO Valparaiso, IN Robert J. Caruso, 71, of Valparaiso, IN passed away Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Porter Hospital. He was born August 11, 1937 in Chicago to Sam and Frances (DiGiovanni) Caruso. Robert lived most of his life in Lombard, IL. On April 9, 1961 he married Marie "Mary" Malinowski who survives. Also surviving are his children Michael (Jacky) Caruso, Lynn (Terry) Trunick, Gina (Mike) Lydon, Robert (Stephanie) Caruso, 12 grandchildren, and his sister Anita (Jerry) Rawlish. Robert was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 10th from 3-8 PM at the Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St., Valparaiso, IN. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 11th at Christ Lutheran Church in Valparaiso. Rev. Dr. Jerry Castleman will officiate. Burial will be in the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois. www.bartholomewnewhard. com

Mom (Arlene) and I are so sad to hear about Bob's passing. May God be with you always, especially during this difficult time of loss. You are all in our prayers and thoughts.
