Robert Paska Obituary

ROBERT P. PASKA Merrillville, Indiana Age 64, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Bob was a graduate of Calumet High School, Class of 1960. He was a machinist at Mittal Steel in Burns Harbor and a former machinist at the Budd Co. A Veteran of the Indiana Army National Guard, he served 6 years with the 113th Engr. BN. Bob was an avid bowler, archer and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anne and Paul Paska. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Carol (nee Mathas) Paska of Merrill-ville; 2 sons Joel (Amy) Paska of Noblesville, IN, Todd (Raeanne) Paska of Crown Point, IN; 3 grandchildren, Jake and Lauren Paska, Zachary Paska; adopted brother, Jim Krampen of Valpa-raiso; mother-in-law, Frances Pawlik of Merrillville; brother-in-law, Art (Gail) Mathas of Hobart; niece, Jenny (Kevin) Reichard and family from Indianapolis and nephew, Kenny (Patty) Mathas and family from Illinois; 2 Godchildren, Michelle Curry and Jason Krampen; numerous friends and family. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN. Rev. Richard Ameling, officiating. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends may visit with the family at Burns Funeral Home (Merrillville/Crown Point Chapel) on Friday from 2:00-8:00 p.m.
