Ronald Kersey Obituary

Kersey, Ronald G. Age 75, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St Louis, MO. He was born March 4, 1936 in Gary Indiana. Ron was a 44 year employee of Gary-Water Water Co. He retired as a Supervisor of Maintenance in 1998 from N.W. Indiana Water. He was a resident of Lake St. Louis, MO, formally of Hobart, IN and Bangor, MI. Ron was a long time member of the GHWCo golf league and former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hobart and Peace Lutheran in South Haven, MI. He is survived by his wife, Judy Kersey, (nee Gardner) of Lake St Louis, MO; daughter, Diane (Brian) Wegener of St. Charles, MO; two sons, Ron (Cheryl) Kersey of Three Oaks, MI and Kevin (fiancee, Kim) Kersey of Hobart; two sisters, Shirley (Jim Elsner) of Hebron and Cheryl (Bill Edmaiston) King of Hobart; grandchildren, Nathan and Andrew Wegener and Jessica and Katharine Kersey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ewart and Ann Kersey (nee Koenig). Services were held Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Missouri. Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Call (219) 942-2109 or visit us online at www.Reesfuneralhomes.com.
