Sam Stewart was born on March 16, 1936 to the late Norah and Alice Stewart in Sallis, MS. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Bethel Church. He worked at US Steel for 28 years and also owned 5th Avenue Auto Repair and Body Shop. Sam is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Natalie; 3 sons, Richard (Kimberly), Rodney (Mariyana), and Brandon (Sharron), 1 daughter Samantha (William) Ard; 1 sister, Emma Stewart; 1 sister-n-law, Catherine Stewart, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation Tuesday June 8, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. family hour at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. All services at the Guy & Allen Chapel. Brother Reginald Burrell of Northlake Church of Christ, officiating.
