Sammy,you were more than a friend to me,you were also my brother.Eventhough you were older I felt that I was the oldest.Although you had your own children you cared for Quintay as if he was yours. I never got the chance to thankyou for all you did. You will always remain in my heart as well as my thoughts.

To the family,
I am so sorry to hear about the lost of a great and sweet person. I remember he used to always speak to me when i went to pulaski middle school , he was so nice , quiet and a sweetheart. I would have never thought that i would hear about this . The last time i seen him was years ago , and I always thought about him to this day . My prayers and condolences will be with your family. And sometimes GOD let things happen for a reason. But your family will be in my prayers and thoughts, and there will be a brighter day.

Sammy was soooo cool in high school. He was always very friendly and never acted like he was too cool to speak and clown around with you. Its been a few years since I've seen him, but I know he was still the same person. This was definately a shock to me, but all apart of God's plan. Rest in Peace Sammy and may God give the family and friends peace that surpasses all understanding.

First and foremost I would like to say I am so sorry to have heard about Sammy and my prayers are with you all.. the lord wont take you where he cant keep you..Second I would like to say from all the panthers that knew Sammy knew he was the most giving person and was always looking out for somebody.. For those panthers that didnt know Sammy but knew of him you only knew hime by his smile and he would always speak.. I will miss you Sammy for reall from one panther to another. Love you always Man..

First to the family, sorry to have this happen and my prayers are with you all. Second Sammy you will always be missed by all those panthers you associated with and to the ones that didnt know you but knew of you they cant say they didnt know how sweet you were.. YOu always lended a helping hand when we were in school,so if dont nobody else know your heart I do, and God does..To the family be blessed and know that God will not take you anywhere he wont keep you.....Love from one panther to another....

A family can never understand why they love one had to be chosen to leave, but believe that it was for the better. He is now in better place and he do as he please and not have to look over his shoulders. The opportunity i had to meet him was a moment to remember. Sammy was a kind heart and sweet indivdual and i can say that my heart and prayers goes out to his family. May the Lord be with you.

To the family and all the lives that Sammy touched through out his time with us, my prayers are with you. Sammy and I go all the way back to third grade and it wasn't until maybe in sixth grade that we realized that we were practically family. This is a hard time for the entire family and just know that God will pull you through. None other is greater than God and he does things for a reason and that reason we can not question. Just know that Sammy is with us in spirit and has touched so many people that he will never be forgotten. His life will live on through his daugthers. God Bless the Bandy family and everyone that is saddend by this loss.

I attended elementary, junior high and freshman year of high school with Sammy and it's hard to believe he's gone. I did not know Sammy, but I grew up with Ray. Well, I actually grew up with Darryl and Vita -- Ray, Tony and Howie were like big brothers to me. For years, we grew up together in Concord, along w/ the Steele family.
I still remember, and think of Howie. I'm very sorry for your loss. There are really no words to say. Stay Strong. I'll remember you in my prayers.
Ray Bandy taught me how to catch a baseball. I'll never forget him.

Me and Sammy graduated together. When I found out I was in disbelief. My prays goes out to his family and friends. Roosevelt High School 2001 class. I will always remember him as a nice person that stayed out trouble and hang around his boys. I'm sorry that I won't be able to come to his funeral, but I will always remember him and his smile.

No words can truly example the pain your family is feeling. However, the most cherised memories we have will allow us all to move forward knowing that he is in a whole new world where nothing can hurt him anymore. I can remember when we were in school and Sammy would always tell me," Do not to settle for the lesser things in life, and when times get hard just pray and move on". My prayers are constantly going up for the entire family.
