My condolences to Ms. Jackson's family. I am honored to have had Ms. Jackson as my 6th grade teacher at Ernie Pyle. I was a tomboy at heart but was too mature looking for my age. Ms. Jackson took the time to talk to me about how pure my intentions were but not everyone had the same thoughts. She was a tough, no nonsense teacher with a heart of gold. RIP Ms. Jackson. Thank you for caring.

Ms. Jackson was one of my elementary school teachers. She invariably and immensely molded my life and the lives of my peers at that time through her incessant expectation of academic achievement, her steadfast mandate of one always comporting his/her behavior to the highest standards of ethics and personal responsibility and via her solemn practice and promotion of young people fully maximizing their potentials and talents and honoring and carrying on the legacies of those who came before them by becoming productive adults and citizens in their own rights. She was the consummate teaching professional who instilled pride, discipline, self respect, dignity and possibility in any young life she touched!! The world needs more like her and I'm forever glad to have been in her presence and to have reaped and received as a young child, the best she had to offer!! RIP Ms. Jackson for your life was one well lived and you made your marks and impacts on many, in legendary style, and you will always be remembered and held aloft. Thank you, you've earned your wings!! William Mott Jr.

Praying for the family's strength during this trying time. Mrs. Jackson is one of the reasons why I became a teacher. She saw leadership skills early on and capitalized on them by allowing me to aide and assist her by organizing the classroom and leading in reading group. Thank you and I love you Mrs. Jackson...Your work on earth is done!
