Family. We always knew as a family that Stas was a very important part of our family. We knew we would never forget him. Now, after attending his funeral, we will now understand how important his life was to all those others who attended his service. He obviously made a great impression on those who were friends, associates, and the many students in who he taught over the years. He and I grew up together as grades school, high school and college students and my memories will always be always be of him as a leader. I ask all of you to remember him in your prayers . Stas, GOD BE WITH YOU.

Sta, you surely surprised Mishka and I when we were in Poland during the trip that Babcia sent us on in the early 70s. If I remember correctly, you introduced us to Babcia's niece who was born on the day that Babcia left the old country. Jesu, she looked like Babcia! Give my love to the family who have gone before its, especially my John.

Stanley ("Ski") was the finest, most capable corpsman for the Navy reserve. He helped me care for the 25,000 recruits, including their officers and drill officers and marine recruits on Paris Island.
He would assist and actually perform minor surgeries for me.
We became friends and thanks to him we continued to speak on the phone regularly. He often said that during our time at Paris Island, I influenced his interest in the arts and classical music. We continued having many conversations about classical music over the years.
Stanley was a generous, caring person sending thoughtful gifts and interesting letters and I will miss my conversations with him immensely!
Dr. John Arnold
This is Susan Arnold, Dr. Arnold´s wife. I never actually met Ski in person, but feel like we k we each other very well through our many phone conversations. I will miss interacting with him on the phone and regret I never was able to meet him in person.
Love and prayers to all.
Susan

So sorry for your great loss! I never had a brother but that was no problem for Stas and Frank, they went out of their way to ensure that I had not one but two brothers.

Brothers who set the standard. Those standards were very high. The good news is that I haven't stopped trying to meet them yet. Thank You so much Stas and Frank!

Mr. Losinski was the best and most caring teacher I had in high school. I was a student of his from 1971-1972 and again from 1973-1974 at West Side High School. We remained in touch over the years; even came to NYC with his college roommate and hung out with me for a weekend. He was wonderful. Funny, smart, and an avid reader. He introduced me to poetry, classical music, James Weldon Johnson, and theater--all of which I enjoy today. And he encouraged my current profession: writing. I will miss him always.
