Theresa Baker Obituary

Theresa Baker, age 90, formerly of Canton, MS passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. Theresa had an extraordinarily strong faith in God. She was blessed with a bright and energetic personality and had a generous and giving heart. She truly lived life to the fullest. Her earlier hobbies included traveling and being a businesswoman of multiple venues, owner of Fountain of Youth Beauty Salon, Tee's Place and a retired employee of LTV Steel Mill. Theresa enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and occasional casino outings. She was preceded in death by husband James Baker; Sons Napoleon Jr. Crawford, Elisha Wilson and Shawn Parks; Sisters Annie Esco, Lenora Crowder, and Della Joyner; Brothers John, Floyd, Albert Esco. Theresa is survived by Patricia, Michael, Napoleon III, Sir Crawford, Diane, Avery Wilson; Reginald Mitchell; Domonique, James and Brooklyn Foster; Gene Baker; special Sisters Delores Teamer, Minnie Shaw, and Rosalee Shelby; special nieces, nephews and a host of dear family members and friends. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held later.
