His career has been in serving the community for many years and he took a special interest with helping young adolescent. He enjoyed working as a leader at Thelma Marshall Children Home and PSI. While he has many memorable moments in his life that we could share, here are some of the moments that stand out the most , He was the Chief Chaplin of the Gary Police Department. COGIC 3rd jurisdiction Chairman of the men's ministry,He was the District Superintendent in the 3rd jurisdiction of Indiana COGIC, Administrative Assistant to the Bishop, Jurisdiction Episcopal Adjutant, COGIC National Adjutant. And one of his proudest moments in his life was him becoming the founding Pastor of Prince of Peace COGIC.

His most prized possessions outside of his relationship with Christ, was his wife and his children. He had a personality that would feel up any room with joy, laughter and celebration. He was a man who took joy and satisfaction in the accomplishments of his family. He was the family prankster, motivator, teacher and he never allowed you to have somber moments in his presence. His laughter was contagious and he genuinely enjoyed to see people smile (*chuckle). He enjoyed traveling, learning new things (he was a master googler..LOL) and telling amazing stories. He had the gift of mentorship that impacted the lives of many youth and from that he was lovingly referred to as "Pops". March 31, 2022

Words cannot express the heaviness of my heart in hearing of the transition of my Dear Friend, My Classmate, and above all My Brother in Christ. I count it a blessing to have known someone who knew their assignment and mission in Christ and completed both-someone who preached the Word in season and out-someone who preached the Word fiercely, whether before empty seats or full ones-someone who boldly took the Word to the streets-oftentimes with just his wife and children-someone who LIVED his eulogy everyday, being able to leave a legacy to his children and grandbabies. Someone who, I truly believe, was allowed by God to get a "glimpse" of heaven before he transitioned. We all are blessed to have known Supt. Thomas Williams, Pastor Thomas Williams, Classmate ("Saboo")...we were all touched by him and made better. To my Lifelong Friend and Sister Evang. Janet and Family, know that God´s got you! The Ishmans love you and are here for you. We love you to life! Hold fast to the precious memories.

We only met Thomas and his family
a short time ago as our new neighbors, but he made such a long lasting impression. He was so kind and generous to us. I will never forget how he gave my husband an upwalker wheelchair, and barely knew him. His joy, smile, and his laughter will live in our hearts and memory forever. Our sincere condolences and love to Janet and the entire family

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
John 14:1-3
We the church family where Bro. Robert Lamons and Sis. Darsino Lamons serve faithfully , pause with you in humble submission to the Will of Almighty God in memory and celebration of His servant's departure from labor to reward.
As memories of Pastor Thomas Williams remain, trust GOD who is with us in every storm. Know Jesus prepared a place for all prepared people. We too, will one day depart for that place where we will be with Jesus forevermore.

Yours In Christian Service,
Pastor L.F. Guy , I
