Willie Lee Gordon

1935 - 2022

Willie L. Gordon, 86 of Gary, Indiana transitioned on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Willie was born December 22, 1935, to Willie and Charlie Gordon in Greenwood, Mississippi. He attended Frobel and Roosevelt High School, becoming a well-known basketball player and earning the name Flash Gordon because of his outstanding skills. A prior employee of United States Steel Corporation Gary Works, as well as an avid craftworker. Willie was a wizard at the game of Chess and an extremely competitive individual in all other sports and games. Willie was preceded in death by his wives, Mildred, and Willette, and by his daughters, Regina, Tonya, and Yvette and grandson Ronald, and his parents, Willie, and Charlie Lee. Willie leaves behind Children, Grand-Children, Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great- Grandchildren, Brothers, Sisters, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, other Family, and Friends. Willie's request will be honored with no funeral or services. Our Dear Loved One Will Be Greatly Missed. THE GORDON FAMILY
