Boone Paul Kujawa was born February 10, 2003 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

A beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to all who knew him, Boone was taken suddenly and before his time on June 10, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of Berlin, proud member of All Saints Catholic Church, and had just graduated from 6th grade at All Saints Catholic School. Boone loved playing sports and sharing time with his teammates, excelling at football, baseball and basketball. He loved to travel with his family and cousins. An avid sportsman from an early age, he enjoyed all outdoor activities and the time he spent hunting with family and friends.

Boone's spirit cannot be fully expressed. We asked family and friends to describe Boone in a few words. Here are their thoughts:

Infectious smile, a huge heart, great competitor, caring, nice, sensitive, smart, loyal, a dreamer, athletic, best friend, radiant, charmer, entertainer, funny, sharp dresser, sincere, best teammate, sweet, class comedian, kind-hearted. Boone touched everyone wherever he went - young, old, male, female. He was everyone's best friend. He made everyone feel good about themselves. His family remembered him like this:

"Have you ever had that person in your life where you never had to say hello?"

"Pure heart - an angel on Earth"

"Hey BC. Hey Uncle Peter. Uncle Peter, will you take us to the Packer game?"

"Biggest heart of anyone we know"

"Never had to say "I love you"

"Aunt Lucinda, Can I ride with you?"

"Hey, Boonie!"

"Nya's protector"

Called Elyse, "Elis"

"Whenever we were sad, he always made us feel better"

"He was my best bud"

"He was fearless, never afraid to do anything - he stood on his own, confidently"

"He was a beast"

"Hey, Uncle Mike . . . !"

"He always made me smile"

"Could pick him out of the crowd with his big teeth"

"Best Brother ever"

"Funniest brother ever"

"He was always friends with the kid who didn't have a friend"

"You always wanted to be around him"

"Grandpa, you're the best!"

"You are my favorite Aunt Catherine"

"Crystal, have you ever seen anyone with bigger muscles than my Dad?"

"He had so much potential in everything"

"Acknowledged me even when he was with his friends"

"I want to wear all white shoes, pants, shirt, tie, coat . . ."

"Boone! Why did you wait until you got in the truck to do that?"

"Can Frank come over?"

"Can I stay at Frank's?"

"I want to go to the shed"

"Hey Boone, can Steph Curry do this?!"

Every night at bedtime yelling up over and over, "You are the best Dad ever . . . I love you!"

"Hey Harry, don't worry about those pipe cleaners. I'll put some muscle on you."

"Dad, call the pump fake and go!"

"Dad, just throw one more!'

"I love you Harry"

Summing up what this kid was in a few paragraphs could never do Boone justice. The people Boone touched in 12 years makes all of us that knew him wonder why God wouldn't have given him 100 years. He would have changed the world. All children are special, but this kid was truly destined for greatness. This world will never know what it truly missed. God truly needed the best rose in the garden, but we can't help but wonder why He had to take ours. Thank you God for the time you gave us with him as he has changed our lives forever. Do you believe in angels?

Boone is survived by his Father, Paul (Crystal) Kujawa , brother, Harry, & sister, Jude. Grandparents, John and Nancy Kujawa, Aunt, Catherine Kujawa & Uncle, David Osterberg, cousins, Dane, Bria, Nya, Elyse, Nick, Amanda & Aurora Osterberg, Uncle Peter & Aunt Lucinda Kujawa, Cousins Frank, Tess, & Pearl, Aunt Elizabeth Kujawa, Great Aunt Mary Bayorgeon & her children Julie Maro & her family, & Stephen Bayorgeon & his family. Great-Uncle Mike and Great-Aunt Luanne Devere & their child Amanda Fisher & her family, Great-Aunt Kevin and Great Uncle Lou and their children, Megan and Matthew, Special Cousin, Judy Martin & dear friend of the family, Paul Krause.

Further survived by his Mother, Jessica (Luke) Zierhut, brother, Zeke Janssen, grandparents James & Mary Zierhut, Uncle, Justin Zierhut, cousins, Max and Gus Zierhut

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Harry and Agnes Kujawa and Juanita and George Devere and Robert Zierhut, Geraldine Sell and Magdalene Nelson.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS MAY VISIT WITH THE FAMILY AND PAY THEIR RESPECTS TO BOONE ON TUESDAY JUNE 16, 2015 FROM 2 TO 8 P.M. AT THE WIECKI-SKIPCHAK FUNERAL HOME OF DOWNTOWN BERLIN AND AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY FROM 9 TO 10;30 A.M. AT THE FUNERAL HOME, JUST PRIOR TO LEAVING FOR THE SERVICES AT THE CHURCH.

A FUNERAL SERVICE WITH THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY JUNE 17, 2015 AT 11A.M. AT THE ALL SAINTS CATHOLIC CHURCH OF BERLIN, (JUST SOUTH OF BERLIN ON HY 49 TO TOP OF HILL) WITH THE FATHER DAVID GREENFIELD OFFICIATING AND BURIAL WILL FOLLOW IN THE SAINT MICHAEL'S CATHOLIC CEMETERY OF BERLIN.

IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE SERVICES AT THE CEMETERY ALL ARE INVITED TO THE CITY INN OF BERLIN, (JUST IMMEDIATELY EAST OF THE CEMETERY) FOR A DINNER AND SHARING OF MEMORIES WITH THE FAMILY AND ALL ARE INVITED.
