Uncle Neil, you will be missed by all those whose life you touched. Never was there such an infectious smile or heart felt laugh that didn't brighten the day of those who saw or heard. Give Aunt Shirley a big hug for me (and daddy also). Till we meet again, all my love.

So good to see so many messages. I was so fortunate to have such a great man that i could call Grandpa. I have heard so many stories from his travels and life experiences. So sad to see him go, but we have so many memories of him to look back on and laugh about, and so many pictures to pour over. Would love to hear any stories you have of Neil.

Dear Family,
So sorry to hear of Neil's passing. I worked at the Eye Care Center in Appleton for many years, and it was always a pleasure to see Neil. Always a smile for everyone. Just a very nice man. I'm sure he will be missed by many. Again, my sympathies to you all. God Bless.

Neil was my best friend since McKinley grade school through AHS and continued with an extended visit at his home in June 2014. When stationed in Washington D.C., I used to visit Neil and Shirley; the 2 daughters were infants then. Mandy's the night I stayed over. On visits to Appleton, the highlight of the return "home" was a visit with Neil and Shirley. The great memories of Neil, his spirit and friendship shall remain with me forever. Neil, I miss you...go in peace.
