Dan Van Deurzen Obituary
Daniel Van Deurzen, 38, Hilbert, died Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, 101 Canal St., Little Chute. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5:00-9:00 p.m. MONDAY, and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A full obituary will appear in Sunday's edition.

Sister Niki and the children, I am so moved by Brother Dans death, but I know that he is not suffering anymore. You have all been on my mind and in my prayers. Jesus is still good and one day you all will see Dan again.Niki will you give all your children a big hug for Sister Tammy and my self. Wish I could have been more comfort during this time in your lives but the best I could do was pray at this time. Even though it has only been the past few months, I am very blessed and thankful to be able to say that I became very close to Dan and his wonderful family. I would like to thank the Van Deurzen family for allowing me the honor to help care for and comfort Dan in his final months. I will miss you Dan. I hope all your friends and family will take comfort in the fact that you are now back home in our heavenly fathers loving arms. My prayers are with you and your family.

Thinking of the whole Van Deurzen family during this sad time. I am very sorry to hear this news and hope he did not suffer long. Dan was always so loving, kind and willing to help anyone. Many family members and friends will miss him dearly, regardless of gaps in miles, years or even beliefs and opinions.
