Vaughn, Donna

Donna L. Vaughn, age 82, of Oshkosh, died Thursday evening, July 13, 2017, at her home. Born on June 19, 1935, in Oshkosh, the daughter of William and Lucille (Last) Robl, Donna married Ralph "Ozzie" Vaughn in January of 1955 and he preceded her in death in December of 1989.

Employed by the Oshkosh Area School District in Food Service until her retirement, Donna was an avid Brewer and Packer fan. She enjoyed spending winters in Florida with Walt Stewert along with William and Rosie Robl. She had a style of her own which showed in her love of shopping and traveling.

Survivors include her daughters, Kathy (William) Abendschein, Robin (Thomas Ivansek) Vaughn, Debbie Neuser and Tom Neuser, and Kristine (Doug)Soper; grandchildren, Lindey (Phil Fischer) Abendschein, Jason (Laura) Abendschein, Ashley (Troy) Rolph, Holly (Brett) Meuret, Jillian Neuser and special friend, Arlyn Slaughter, and Shayla Soper; a great-grandchild, Gabriel Rolph; a brother, Dave (Mary) Robl, and a sister-in-law, Rosie Robl. Preceding Donna in death are her parents, husband, a sister, Marlene Elmer, a brother, William Robl, and a brother-in-law, Richard Elmer.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. in Fox Cities Cremation Services Chapel. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held at the chapel from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park. A special thank you to a special friend of 22 years, Walter Stewart, the Hospice Home visiting Nurses, especially, Penny Sue, Molly, Kristine, and social worker, Nancy, Dave and Mary Robl and all our family for their continued love and support.
