I wanted to share that although I met Dustin a few times over relatively a short period of time in Neenah, Wi (2004-2005), I was immediately impressed by how friendly, engaging and intelligent he was. After he had graduated from UWM, his mother would tell me how well he was doing as he made his way from Wisconsin to Las Vegas, NV. I was fortunate to hear of many of his successes personally and professionally over the years thanks to his mother Sheryl and I don't believe I ever spoke to Sheryl or Dustin's grandmother over the years without Dustin's name and most recent activities coming up especially his engagement and wedding not so very long ago. Dustin will always be remembered by me and the staff in Neenah as a sweet, engaging, personable and intelligent young man with so much to offer and I know he was thrilled with being in Las Vegas to live, work and relax surrounded by friends and family. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing and know that he will forever remain safe and at peace in God's house and in the hearts and minds of all those who knew and loved him-especially his family and friends.

I wish I could have spoken during the ceremony but I was barely holding it together so I thought I'd leave my thoughts here. Dustin and Cindy introduced me to my beautiful fiance and I'll be eternally grateful for that. Dustin, Anson and I used to do trivia nights and you could just tell how smart, humble, and kind he was whenever you were around him. Always ready to lend a hand or just hang out, he had so many good qualities that you don't find in most people. I know he fought hard and I want to send my sincerest sympathy to all his family.

You have my deepest condolences on your immeasurable loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. There is little that I can say or do to ease your pain and suffering. May knowing that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many, bring a measure of comfort. Life is so short and those we love are gone from our lives too quickly. God's promise to empty the grave in the near future is found at Hosea 13:14. May the God of loyal love comfort you during your time of sorrow.

Doug, Sheryl, Cindy and Crystal,
Dustin was one of the greatest guys we knew. We cherish our friendship and the memories we made over the years with DD. He truly was one of the good ones in life and could bring a smile to anyone's face. He would always make time to see us when he came home to Wisconsin for a visit no matter how busy he would be. He gave the best hugs in the world, (I always said it was because he was so tall but I do believe it was because he had so much love to give and genuinely cared about those around him). Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all on Sunday when Dustin is layed to rest.
Until we met again my friend you will be forever in our hearts.

Sheryl, Doug, and Cindy,
There are no words strong enough to express out deepest sympathy. Dustin was one of the best guys we knew. He Always called when he made the trip home and always made time to see us. He would always give the best hugs (i think it was because of how tall he was) or because he had so much love to give and genuinely cared. We are truly grateful for the friendship we had with DD and will cherish the memories we made together. We hope you can find comfort knowing he is no longer in pain and he put up one heck of a fight. We love you guys, our thoughts and prayers will be with you all on Sunday as Dustin is layed to rest.

I'm gonna miss you Dustin. You were always a great friend and even though for the last couple years we were a long ways away from each other I always considered you one of my best friends. I remember my wedding week you came back in town for the whole week and we got to hang out like the old times it was a great week and the first time Katie and I came to Vegas you picked us up and showed us the city and then partied with us like we used to. I'll always remember the good times D and there was a lot of them. Thanks for being a great friend. I love you and will always remember you. Rabbi

There's so many stories to tell about Dustin, but a couple that come to mind are that bike he was always cruising around with and his legendary basketball matchups with Ben Dictus. Both Cindy and the Dohr family are in our thoughts and we love you all very much. ~Taylor and Phem.
