Earl Lederhaus Obituary

Lederhaus, Earl H.

Of Waupaca, age 88, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013 at home. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on September 21, 1925 to the late Herman and Amelia (Gross) Lederhaus. On June 21, 1947 he married Marie Felton, she preceded him in death on June 20, 2007. Earl was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army. He was a member of VFW Post 1037. He was on a Bowling League "Earl's Gone Wild", Horseshoe League and especially enjoyed playing drums in a semi-professional band "Northern Lights". Earl was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was proud to be able to go on the Old Glory Honor Flight on July 29, 2010.

He will be sadly missed by his children: Linda (Larry) Drake of Clintonville; Lois (Roger) Anderson of Clintonville; Barbara (William) Tohm of Manawa; Tom (Beverly) of Waupaca; Kathleen (Leo John) Mackey of New London; Earl (Tracy) Jr. of Clintonville; Kenneth (Wendy) of Iola; Nancy (special friend, Mark Barnett) Klaver of Appleton; Jeff (Deborah) of Oshkosh; Gregg (Robin) of Appleton; Peggy (Chad) Baxter of Waupaca; Crystal (Josh) Winterfeldt of Shiocton; sister: Hazel Mather of Waukesha; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by sons: Daniel and Dennis, numerous brothers and sisters, an infant child and son-in-law, Ray Riste.

The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home. The visitation will be on Thursday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service, with full military honors to follow. Burial will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to the Old Glory Honor Flight www.oldgloryhonorflight.org.

The family would like to thank Debbie Baxter for being such a great friend and caregiver.

I do not know anyone who met Earl that didn't love him. He will be missed by so many. His Willow Creek Bowling Tournament Team, Earl's Girls will not be the same without him.
