Elaine Brantmeier Obituary
Menasha - Elaine M. Brantmeier, age 92, passed away on February 12, 2021. Elaine was born on December 9, 1928, adopted daughter of George Ackerman. She graduated from Menasha High School in 1946 and married Eddie Brantmeier in 1948. She worked at Theda Clark Hospital for 12 years.
Elaine is survived by: Rick and Agnes "Bobbie" Brantmeier, and Diane (the late Jim) Kolakowski ; grandchildren: Chad (Cintia), Jeremy Brantmeier, Jenny (Bill) Honkanen, and Ron (Debbie) Zawacki; and great grandchildren: Maria Helien, Ron Zawacki III, Tobias Honkanen and Samuel Brantmeier. She is further survived by her sister (whom she raised): Carol Miller; best friends: Eupha Koslowski, Joyce Birling and Jan Harmon; son-in-law: Marc Oltra; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Edward "Eddie" Brantmeier; daughter: Patti Oltra; and her good friend Ruth Brantmeier.
Elaine enjoyed her many trips with Eddie and Joyce. She loved to read and do puzzles. She loved to walk twice a day until unable.
A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Elaine's family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Prairie Home for their love and kindness. Memorials to Ascension Hospice are appreciated.

oh my Ricky and Diane, am so very very sorry, such a good neighbor, and such a good friend, and neighbor for 61 years, but her prayers were answered. . if it wasnt for your mom always looking after mom, and making sure she was ok. she helped keep mom in her home. as long as she could. your mom will always be remembered, and loved. once again so sorry for this sad news. tanya przybylski

My condolences to you and your family Diane. I remember sleep overs at your house when we were kids and she always made me feel like I was part of the family. Wonderful, loving woman.
