Dear Don,Diane and family.
As the saying goes,we fly with wings of an Eagle... Eugene did have a wonderful "Heart" it is the center of "Love" and symbolized by the Eagle, he did find wings to fly, he truly knew what the meaning of 'friendship' was, there is a poem by Anais Nin, it goes "Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born." his life stories his personal history of family and Winchester will always be remembered, and written down. as it says his name is written in the book of life.
Blessings Jo Ann

Diane and Don, you know how much we loved your dad! He was like my second father. I will miss his funny personality, energy for life, smiles
and visiting with him. Also driving up behind him and shocking him. He is now with my parents in heaven, looking down on us and smiling. Love to you, Sherry and Jim Bassett

Dear Cousin Diane and Don,
I'm so sorry for your loss. Uncle Eugene visited and telephoned me quite often. He had a real interest in our family history and contributed a lot of information for the Bockin family genealogy book. It's too bad that JoAnn, Judy, and I haven't finished the book yet, but he knew we were working on it and followed the progress. He always helped when there was a question about any of the families from Winchester...he had first-hand knowledge that was invaluable. I will miss him.
