Oscar Hedrich Obituary
Oscar C. Hedrich, age 92 of Brillion, passed away on Wednesday December 10, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born on November 7, 1922 in the Town of Rantoul, son of the late Oscar & Ida (Schaefer) Hedrich. He married Malinda Bergelin on June 1, 1946 at St. Luke Lutheran Church in the Town of Chilton. Oscar farmed in the Town of Rantoul his entire life. He loved his family and his church. He and Malinda loved to travel, he loved the Packers, Brewers and sports in general. He was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Rantoul, where he served as Elder for 12 years, sang in both the Mens Choir and the Mixed Choir, he served as treasurer, was a member of the building committee as well as other committees in the church. Survivors include his wife Malinda, his children, Wesley (Kathy) Hedrich of Brillion, Kenneth (Gail) Hedrich of Brillion, Marlene (Steve) Anderson of Germantown, Connie (Chuck) Simonson of Maricopa AZ, 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 great grandsons, Mitchell Konczal and Ethan Roehrig, and a sister Janet Schnell. Funeral service will be held on Monday December 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul. The Rev. Darrel Bergelin will officiate. Burial will be in the Brillion Community Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. with the service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Online condolences may be made at www.wieting-funeralhome.com

So sorry to hear about Oscar's passing, but we rejoice that he is now safe in Jesus' arms. He was a wonderful Christian example and we were blessed to get to know him. May God be with you as you mourn his passing. So sorry we couldn't make it to the funeral.
