Guy Shadduck Obituary
Bear Creek - age 82, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018. He was born on March 12, 1936, in Mattoon, son of the late Lavern and Lucille Shadduck. Guy attended High School in Bowler then moved to Bear Creek and worked for 43 years at Bordon's (Saputo) in New London retiring in 1998. He liked to play baseball, cards, bowling, golf and poker.
Guy is survived by his Significant other Linda Bessette; siblings: Joe Shadduck; Jerry (Ratree) Shadduck; Judy Chipman; Jackie (Larry) Boushley; Ginger (Dale) Kriewaldt; Mae (Wayne) Schweitzer and Rosena (Steve) Wilson; step-children: Virginia Schweitzer; Connie (Gordon) Gabrielson; Charles (Tina) Bessette; David (Rebecca) Bessette; Menessa (Thomas) Pues; and Jimmy (Rachel) Bessette. He is further survived by 25 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother Clara Shadduck; sister Theresa; brothers, Tom and Dan; step-son, Clarence Samson Jr.; step-daughter Barbara Ritchie; and a step-son Tavis Bessette.
Funeral services for Guy will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bear Creek with Deacon Lincoln Wood officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
