Mueller, Harold E.

Harold E. Mueller, age 89 of Bear Creek, passed away Saturday morning July 19, 2014 at St. Joseph Residence in New London.

Harold was born on July 24, 1924 in the Town of Larrabee, Waupaca County as the son of the late Leonard and Bertha (Gomoll) Mueller. He was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in the Town of Bear Creek on August 10, 1924 and later confirmed on April 10, 1938 from St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville. Harold graduated from Clintonville High School in 1942 and began working for several farms in the Clintonville and Bear Creek areas. He was united in marriage to Helen Wolff on September 8, 1957 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in the Town of Pella, Shawano County. The couple lived on a farm in rural Bear Creek before moving to the Village of Bear Creek in 1966. Helen preceded Harold in death on February 10, 2001. Harold worked at FWD Seagrave in Clintonville for several years, a short time at Neenah Foundry, and then at Curwood Inc. in New London, retiring in 1995 after 28 years. Throughout his life he was a member of both Grace Lutheran Church and Trinity Lutheran Church in Bear Creek serving his congregations faithfully as elder, trustee, usher, and for 25 years as Sunday School Superintendent. Harold enjoyed bowling, gardening, and as an avid Wisconsin sports fan loved watching the Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, and Milwaukee Bucks.

His Daughters: Barbara (Daniel) Fuhrmann, Allen, TX. Carolyn (Dale) Rudzinski, Green Bay.

Sons: Thomas (Sheri) Mueller, Rothschild & Gary Mueller, Bear Creek.

Grandchildren: Colleen (Fiance Roberto Sanchez) Fuhrmann, Jackson, TN.

Jeremiah (Kristin) Fuhrmann, Beale Air Force Base, CA.

Sister: Lucinda Hoffmann, Tigerton.

Brother: Robert (Rose) Mueller, San Diego, CA.

Also a Sister-in-Law: Geraldine Mueller, Clintonville.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen, a brother Louis Mueller, a brother-in-law Raymond Hoffmann, and a sister-in-law Rosa Mueller.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 11 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in the Township of Bear Creek, Waupaca County with Rev. Paul Alliet officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery also in the Town of Bear Creek.

Friends may call from 5 - 8 PM Tuesday at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory in Clintonville and at the church on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Harold's family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph Residence in New London for their care of Harold over the past months.
