James Tickler Obituary

James Edward Tickler

James E. Tickler, 54, Little Chute, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at his home following a courageous battle with heart disease and cancer. He was born September 16, 1957, in Michigan, son of Robert and Dorothy (Denny) Tickler. James enjoyed fishing, traveling, volunteering at St. Vincent De Paul, and had a passion for growing pumpkins. He also truly enjoyed his time spent with the love of his life, Amy.

James is survived by his sister Alesa (Dan) Brennan; nieces Kirsten (Brad) Meidam and their children Cameron and Hunter, Keely (Adam Smith) Brennan; fiancé, Amy Vanden Wyngaard and other family members and friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents and many aunts and uncles.

A memorial mass will be said for James at 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2012, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine St. Little Chute, with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating.

James's family would like to extend a special thank you to James's cousins Fuzzy and Janice for allowing James to spend time growing pumpkins at their farm, doing what he loved to do most.
