Dear Carol and family, WE are so sorry to hear that John has passed. I remember the good ole days in Kenosha when after church we all would eat at the Tower drive in restaurant and play miniature golf. We had such fun. Now we are older and getting ready to meet the Lord.

My deepest condolences to the entire Bridges family! Pastor Bridges will always be remembered as a true man of God! He was there for our family for many memorable events, baptism, marriage and even death! He encouraged us to stay close to God always, that through Christ anything is possible! Your battle is done, mighty warrior. Your reward is Heaven! Rest In Peace Pastor Bridges!

I have known John & the family for many years. I met them at Apostolic Faith church when I was 11 yrs old. Remember all the nights I spent there with Bonnie. We had lots of fun back then. The memories will never be gone. John was a great man of God and he will be missed. He is wrapped in God's loving arms now. Prayers for the family.

John always spoke the truth when I knew him one service he brought in a big wooden cross up to the altar and had us right down our sins on a piece of paper so we did and then we each went up and nailed them to the cross. You also used to say invading The impossible in 1987 and he used to say I'm sick of and tired of being sick and tired. I remember how much you love the song how great thou art in church most of all he baptized me in Jesus name in 1984. He really opened my eyes to the word and a book of Acts. Rest in peace john to live is Christ to die is gain
