Mark did a wonderful job in the laying down of patio stones at our cottage. Plus adding a water-runoff system. We couldn't have been motr happier with his workmanship. A true gentleman through and through.

Mark worked at our cottage on the Chain O'Lakes. We were so pleased with the workmanship he and his crew had done in laying down the patio/grill patio stones. Top notch all the way.
But that's besides the point. He made you feel good with his upbeat character when he talked to you. Even though he was battling cancer,...he didn't let that spill over in not making you feel good with his positive outlook in life. Mark Rolfs will be missed.

I have known Mark since grade school. i started to know him when we had a job sheering Christmas trees . Istudied Tae Kwon Do with him , lived and worked the oil fields in Montana with him , went to the Boundary Waters with him. He will be sorely missed . Nobody that know him is surprised he died with his boots on working. Rest in Peace old buddy.

I was very sad to hear of Marks passing. I met Mark many, many years ago on the Windsor Dam road when he had that old black dump truck and was starting out in the landscape business. I was so impressed by the passion, knowledge, and love he had for the big woods. From that time on every fall I made it a point to stop by his camp to talk over and share our bowhunting pursuits of whitetail bucks. Last week I talked to him for the last time, he told me this year he was going to slow down a bit and was thinking of retiring in the future. Mark will be deeply missed by me and the rest of his hunting friends up north. My Sincere condolences go out to his family and Elaine...Charlie Hopfensperger

My deepest sympathies to Mark's family. I met Mark over 25 years ago when I worked at the Amherst Cafe, where he was a regular. Diane Stroik, the owner gave him the nickname of "Cutie Mark" and that he was. But as cute as he was, he was even sweeter of a guy. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. I was lucky to have known him. May he rest in peace and I hope that warm memories of Mark will bring you comfort during this difficult time.

Mark was such an incredibly kind person. Mark would give the shirt that's on his back, and all the hands he could to help you. Mark and I shared many things as we are both in the stone business. If I ever needed advice on installing a paver stone walkway , Mark always had the right answer. Mark was a true craftsman. He was one of the best stone splitters in the State.
Let your spirit flow free now Mark !
