Mary Rather Obituary
Mary Jane Rather, 73, Neenah, died unexpectedly Thursday, January 17, 2013, at her home. She was born June 6, 1939, in Neenah, daughter of Lloyal and Grace (Kaminski) Boelter. Mary Jane married Bill Rather, July 11, 1959, in Neenah. She enjoyed golfing, playing cards and traveling. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah.
Mary Jane is survived by her husband, Bill; her children: William (Heidi) Rather, Neenah; Sally (Jim) Jolma, Ashland; Tim (Laurie) Rather, Gladstone, OR; Kevin (Amy) Rather, Appleton; ten grandchildren: Zachary, Brent and Jordan Jolma, Jordan and Jaryn Tolsch, Evan Rather, Brady and Cory Rather, Nathan and Lauryn Rather; sisters- and brothers-in-law: Judy (Don) Olsen, Oshkosh; John (Jan) Rather, Neenah; Dick (Sherie) Rather, Waukesha and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services for Mary Jane will be held at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S Commercial Street, Neenah with Fr. Larry Seidl officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Menasha. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. Tuesday until the time of the service. A memorial has been established.
