Nancy Zuleger Obituary

Nancy K. Zuleger

Nancy Zuleger, age 55, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Appleton on Saturday, May 4, 2013. Nancy was born in Appleton on July 5, 1957, daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret (Boreson) Kolosso. She was a 1975 graduate of Appleton West High School, and also recently received a degree as a Medical Office Assistant from Fox Valley Technical College. Nancy held a variety of jobs over the years, but many will remember her kindness as she cared for senior citizens in their homes. She loved the outdoors, biking, fishing, long walks, and horseback riding and trips to the northwoods with Vicki. Nancy was also an expert Christmas cookie baker - Andy and Marissa both admit to having eaten too many once or twice.

She will be missed by those she leaves behind. They include her children: Andrew Zuleger (Tania) of Appleton and Marissa Zuleger of Oshkosh; her longtime friend and companion: Scott Franzek; and her nine brothers and sisters and their families: Judy (Llew) Krause of Shawano; Dan "Butch" Kolosso, Jr. of Appleton; Betty Handel (Jeff Ogden) of Appleton; Richard (Carol) Kolosso of Pueblo, Colorado; Diane (Doug) Verrier of Appleton; Mark (Teri) Kolosso of Appleton; Joe (Kelly) Kolosso of Green Bay; Mary Martin of Appleton; and Ken (Marta) Kolosso of Omaha, Nebraska. There are also many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.

The funeral service for Nancy will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 10, 2013 at APPLETON ALLIANCE CHURCH, 2963 W. Grand Chute Boulevard in Appleton, with Rev.Brian Dainsberg officiating. Burial will take place in Twelve Corners Cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Friday afternoon from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.

Mom, we want you to know how very much we love you and how very much we will miss having you here with us. You made us so proud when you made the decision to go back to school to get your degree. And you did it! We love you, Andy and Marissa.
