Ricky Rigsby

RIGSBY Ricky, 45, of Lexington, KY, went home to be with the Lord on April 26, 2014. He was the son of James and Ida Rigsby. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Scott (Lori) Rigsby of Campbellsville, KY, and one sister Carol Cox of Stanford, KY. He is also survived by five nieces; Kelsey, Maggie and Autumn Rigsby (Campbellsville) and Lesa and Kayla Cox (Stanford) as well as two nephews; Matt Rigsby (Nashville) and Mark Rigsby (Campbellsville). He has one great-niece, Kiah Hill and one great-nephew, Kaiden Hill, both of Campbellsville. He was preceded in death by his grandparents James and Sadie Rigsby and Berlyn and Lura Cable. He was a 1986 graduate of Lafayette High School. He gave his life to the Lord at the age of eleven and lived a faithful Christian life as a member of Gardenside Christian Church. Even though he faced many challenging years due to several brain surgeries, he remained faithful to the Lord and was an inspiration to everyone around him. Family and friends have comfort in knowing that he is rejoicing with his Lord in Heaven with a new body. Visitation will be at Gardenside Christian Church on Monday evening from 7-9pm. The funeral service will held at the church on Tuesday at 11am with Brother Bobby Cairell officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Stacy Jacobs, Greg Herriford, Tom Mefford, Dean Brewer, Matt Rigsby, and Scott Rigsby. Honorary pallbearer will be Mark Rigsby.
