Plummer, Robert A.

Robert A. Plummer, age 83, Crandon, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014, with his family by his side. Bob was born on July 20, 1930, in Nelma, WI son of the late June and Yula (Adams) Plummer. On June 22, 1957, he was united in marriage to Monica Werner in Medford. She preceded him in death in 1988. Bob formerly worked as a printer for the Post-Crescent and the Press-Star. He later owned and operated London Printing in New London until his retirement. Bob served his country in the US Air Force and was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He enjoyed his dancing, golfing, hunting, and just being with people.

He is survived by his daughters, Diane (Ed) Hildebrand, Medina and Chris (Patrick) Ebben, Greenville; two brothers, William (Shirley) Plummer and Jerry Plummer, both of Crandon; a sister Sheila (Fran) Sturzl, Crandon. He is further survived by 7 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, daughter Nannette, and sister in-law, Evelyn Plummer.

Funeral services for Bob will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Crandon with Rev. William Brown officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Interment will be in the Most Precious Blood Cemetery, New London.

In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
